Having worked in the medical field with the ideal of specializing in Neurology, RaeAnn changed the course of her career after observing a disconnect between the goals of the patient and that of the healthcare provider. Patients and their families wanted restoration of function and health, while the treatments offered were medications and invasive procedures. Unsettled with these remedies, she found acupuncture to be a viable option in most cases. Patients are often surprised to learn the extent of ailments acupuncture can benefit.
